MCar Lead

Single-store getting started

Managers assign. Sales follow up. Practise with synthetic customers before the manager starts a real pilot.

Sign in and join

  1. Use the invited email

Open mechanichead.com/login and choose English, 中文 or ไทย. Use the exact email your manager invited. Verify the email code or confirmation link, or choose a Google account with the same email.

  2. Verify once

Email codes and sign-in links expire after ten minutes and are single-use. Invitations last seven days. If access is missing, ask the manager to check the email, invitation and member status rather than registering other accounts.

  3. Use a full mobile browser

If an in-app email or chat browser fails, copy the site address into Safari or Chrome and use the same invited email. Do not forward codes, passwords or sign-in emails.

Managers: set up and assign

  1. Invite your sales staff

Team → Create invitation: enter the salesperson’s own email, name and language. Signing in matches the invitation automatically; a second site permission setup is unnecessary. Submitted email does not prove delivery. Check the mail status and inbox before taking further action.

  2. Confirm the mode

Use synthetic data while Sample data is shown. Before a real pilot, agree the store, staff, fees and data handling, then download a business backup. In System settings → Pilot & backups, enter the agreed prices and START. Enter 0 for both fees for a free pilot. Demo business is backed up and cleared; no payment is collected automatically.

  3. Create a live inquiry link

Lead intake → Links & campaigns → Create a link: choose the channel, vehicle and Thai, then share the link or QR code. Create new links after starting the real pilot; demo links cannot collect live inquiries.

  4. Review and explicitly assign

Check customer name, vehicle, contact details and consent evidence in To review. Investigate possible duplicates before creating another lead. Do not alter contact details to bypass the warning. Create the lead, explicitly choose a salesperson and save; the salesperson must then accept it.

  5. Capture a customer

Use New customer for manual inquiries. Save the customer and optionally assign sales, or save for review. Choose one preferred contact and expand other details if needed. Pasted conversations and CSV still enter review. Preview CSV mapping before importing: 1–100 rows, up to 256 KB, UTF-8 or Thai Windows-874.

  6. Close the day and reconcile

Review unassigned, unaccepted and overdue leads, appointments and disputes. Dealership-owned sources are not automatically charged as supplied leads. Check the agreed prices before locking a statement; locked fees cannot be edited directly. A statement is not payment collection or a tax invoice. Create and download business backups daily and store them securely. These snapshots exclude separate inquiry records and original chats; scheduled off-site backups are not provided.

Sales: accept and follow up

  1. Accept the lead

Open your assigned customer from Tasks and accept it. Work only with leads you can access. Ask the manager to check ownership if a lead is missing; never share accounts.

  2. Record facts and the next step

After actual contact, choose phone, email, LINE or an in-store conversation and explicitly select the real outcome. No success result is preselected. Record notes, the next task and follow-up in Thailand time. Saving does not call or send a message. Correct customer details from the detail screen; edits keep a history.

  3. Schedule and check in

Create the agreed test-drive appointment, and record real reschedules or cancellations. Check in only when the customer arrives and mark a drive complete only when it happens. If check-in fails, confirm its status and use the original pending operation; do not create another appointment as a retry. Drive completion, order and delivery require confirmation. Ask the manager to correct the most recent status with a reason if entered by mistake.

  4. Capture your own inquiries

New customer → check contact, vehicle and permission → Save customer. Save for review when incomplete. Your captures belong to your sales profile; accept the lead if prompted. A display name is not a unique identity. Never invent permission.

When the connection fails

  1. Keep the original operation

A spinner or error does not prove that the server failed to save. Do not click repeatedly, create a replacement appointment or customer, or clear site data immediately.

  2. Return with the same identity

Restore the network and return using the same browser and account. Sign in with the same invited email if asked. Ask the manager about missing or disabled membership; do not switch accounts while an operation is pending.

  3. Use the confirmation controls

Open the pending-operation details and select Confirm again. The CRM checks the original operation ID. For a conflict, review current data before using the available resubmission action. Statement lock, restore and pilot start require their normal confirmation flow again.

  4. Know the draft limits

Unsent inquiry and follow-up drafts stay in the current tab and expire when reopened after 24 hours. Closing the tab, clearing site data or changing devices may lose them. Unconfirmed business operations use separate receipts; offline cross-device sync is not promised. If the issue remains, send the manager the time, page and error text with customer details hidden.
